We were recently featured (again) on R* Newswire so here’s the lowdown on the events we run.
Let’s give a HOOT
Last weekend, GM-HOOT put together 5 playlists which include some of the very best content created from a broad range of authors. On Saturday night we play these at a set time, ensuring at least one full lobby with a backup for anyone who isn’t able to get in.
“Let’s give a HOOT 6″ is on Saturday 19 July 2014 @ 11pm BST. Everyone in GTA Content Creators Club on PS3 [GCCC] is welcome to take part. Request your invite now!
Owen’s Sunday Skool
OwenOldSkool (PS3) is keen to promote a relaxed environment where creators can try out stuff in the knowledge they’re playing with willing participants of a Good Sport nature. Jobs will be launched in a round the room format, ensuring everyone gets a shot. (That means ONE job each.)
Sound like your kinda thing? Check out the details from the first running of Owen’s Sunday Skool.
Also do not forget our Xbox Creators!
Buster’s Xbox No. 1 Draft Pick
Creator’s Core Club Members!
New Jobs Every Week!!
Impromptu Test Sessions
These might crop up at any time, so keep an eye out for invites from GCCC players when you are in San Andreas.
They should follow a format a bit like Owen’s Sunday Skool, where each player gets to show one of their works in progress. If the same player is hosting a sequence of their own jobs, that isn’t fair. Self-promoting is not what our crew is about. We’re here to help each other.
Vote for your favourites
These playlists represent the most amazing content from the PS3 side of our operation. BusterGoody plans to start making Xbox 360 playlists in the same way, for our sister crew, Creators Core Club on Xbox 360 [CRe8]. This event has yet to be named but “Buster’s Goodies” has been suggested to make clear who is in charge of.
Better yet, leave a comment below or reply to the GCCC Forum topic. (You’ll have to register to do either but it gives you access to both places.)
- This event is only for fully tested, high quality jobs
- You may suggest ONE of your own jobs
- You may suggest as many GCCC jobs as you like
- Must support 2-16 players so we can test them easily before and use a full lobby on the night
- If the jobs you suggest turn out to be rubbish, you’ll lose respect from GCCC!
(“And remember: respect is everything.”)
The key to each submitted job is that it must be as perfect as you can make it. You can spend time during weekdays to test and adjust. Only once you know it can’t get any better, you can send it in. Or you could recommend a great job you tried from another one of our Crew members. (Ask yourself this: “If I never try their creations, why would they try mine?”)
This packs the event full of fun, killer gameplay with no problems all evening!
Playlists So Far
Because we are adding more every week, please get our official playlists from the forum.
Once the Xbox 360 side is up and running, that will get a separate forum topic.
What to include when you send in a job
When the time comes simply include the Job name, Author name and Link in your post and I will add them in the weekly playlist/s.
There is a maximum of 16 jobs for each event, to keep the lobby full and players sharp. There’s an optional warm-up before and an after-party at the end, often with group photos along the way in Freemode.
About our Crews
Our crews have some of the best creators in San Andreas and I’m very proud to be a part of it.
I would love more people to submit content on this site and I would love more people to focus on the founding principles:
CREATE, SHARE PLAY
See you in L.S you fantastic fruitpies
